You will need to do a bit of preparation for this unit before arriving at class.
1. Read the lectures. These will be reviewed briefly in class, but the information they contain will be important to the class discussions, as well as the exam. These are very detailed lectures -- so take your time and take notes.
2. Read the relevant articles listed in the unit outline.
3. Complete the Blackboard discussion exercises. These are extensive.
4. It may be advisable to see at least some of the films before class -- it will be easier to take notes at home. A second viewing in class may be very helpful.
