This is what we Presentation Sisters want

for you

for us

for everyone.

 


Which is why we choose to be in situations

where life is a struggle,

and fullness of life an impossible dream.

But this was what Jesus was on about -

I came that you may have life

in abundance (John 10:10).

    So abundant life for all is our vision too.

 

 

 

 

                             Ann and Barbara run holiday programs for families who might otherwise never be able to manage a holiday.

 

 

Fun at 

Balnarring Beach

Our place in Balnarring provides a haven for those who need some 'time out'.

Helen works with families primarily supporting their religious education

 – adults as well as children.

 

Joan is involved in a number of ministries  working for social justice, both here and in the Philippines.  

 Joan also is our contact person working with one of our Sisters within the United Nations. 

 

Rose is an artist. Through her art Rose has found a great meeting point with Koorie people and many isolated folk in boarding houses.

  

Felicity and Mary work in Papua New Guinea where a new group of Presentation sisters is beginning. 

  

Michele is a pastoral  worker in a Parish looking to the needs of all ages.

 

Cheryl is the director of a spirituality centre offering short programs for those searching to nurture their spiritual hungers.

  

Mary lectures in Bible Studies while Ann has established Wellsprings, a centre for women with a wide variety of social, cultural and religious backgrounds. 

   

Many people.

Many gifts.

Many ways

we try to nurture

and free

 life to happen.



Like many other groups of religious people

most of us live in a community

with other Presentation sisters;  

   and we express our full time

and wholehearted commitment to God  

 through three special vows usually named as:

        poverty, celibacy and obedience.

Not catchy words today

but powerful words that help to shape

our way of living out Jesus' words 

life to the full.
