ABOUT QIER

 

OBJECTIVES

As its constitutional objectives, QIER seeks to

  • promote as far as possible, in co-operation with existing institutions, the cause of research in education;

  • draw up programs of educational research to be undertaken by the Institute;

  • hold regular meetings for the purpose of promoting discussion on educational topics;

  • convene lectures on educational matters to which non-members may be invited;

  • issue, periodically, information of educational interest; and

  • act in close co-operation with the Australian Council for Education Research.

Membership of QIER is open to all those with an interest in educational research.  There are three types of membership:

 

  • Individual membership / Journal subscription

  • Institutional membership

  • Students / Retired membership

Membership is available by completing the attached membership application form (in Adobe Acrobat) and forwarding to the Membership Secretary with payment.
