 Introductions

ACU National:
This is a public university, funded by the Australian Government, and is open to students and staff of all beliefs. The University is firmly established as an institution with a reputation for quality and innovative teaching. The combination of small class sizes and highly qualified academic staff who have a commitment to student-centred learning results in a personalised learning environment with a low student-to-staff ratio. The opportunity for program transfer between states is also available to students. Ageing research has been identified as a major new focus at ACU National.

MONIKA BHATIA:
I have a background in Humanities and Social Sciences and a long history of community engagement at relevant Federal, State and Local Government levels. I engage with a cross-section of non-profit organizations working at the intersection of social policy research and societal practice. Please send your suggestions to me at the following address: m.bhatia@mary.acu.edu.au.

We hope you will join us in the present endeavour.
