Australia 's Health 2006 Conference

This one-day conference, held in Canberra, provides the big picture on the health of Australians and factors that influence their health, including health services and resources. It will highlight levels and trends and demonstrate successes and concerns in population health.

The conference will discuss current health statistics and relate them to existing and future health practices and reforms.

It brings together health professionals, researchers, policy makers, practitioners and academics working across all industry and government fields. Delegates will have the chance to listen to expert speakers from these areas, including staff of the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW).
