When you receive the email, save the message as a Text Only (*.txt) file and import it with this filter. * If you wish to save the records directly, leave the other boxes blank and click on the "Send" button. This will open a new screen where your records are displayed. Use the "File>Save As" command to save this as a Text File (*txt). Import the file with this filter. Limitations of this Filter: * This filter is unable to distinguish between Authored Books and Edited Books. All such references will be imported with the reference type "Book". However the statement of responsibility from the catalogue record will be imported into the Notes field, and if you check this, you should be able to identify edited books and amend the reference type accordingly. * Names of corporate authors will often not import correctly. * Records for periodicals are imported with the Generic reference type. ========= Filter written by John East, University of Queensland Library, 8 April 2003.
