journal articlesJournal articles are most useful because they provide up-to-date information. Use the databases to access articles from journals, newspapers, conference papers, research reports, etc.

Use the Library catalogue to check for theses held in ACU Libraries. Include the word "thesis" or "theses" in your search limit it to these documents.
- Australian Digital Theses Program - provides a national collaborative distributed database of digitised theses produced at Australian Universities.
The ADT database provides access to PhD and Masters by Research theses only.- Digital Dissertations - the single, authoritative source for information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses worldwide.

It can be difficult to navigate your way around the range of government documents available. Most campus libraries have a collection of Acts, Statutes, etc., however much information is now available via the Internet.

Statistical information can be very useful for researchers. Most campus libraries have collections of ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) information. Alternatively, you may access statistical information online via:
