journal articles

Journal articles are most useful because they provide up-to-date information. Use the databases to access articles from journals, newspapers, conference papers, research reports, etc.

theses

Use the Library catalogue to check for theses held in ACU Libraries. Include the word "thesis" or "theses" in your search limit it to these documents.

government documents

It can be difficult to navigate your way around the range of government documents available. Most campus libraries have a collection of Acts, Statutes, etc., however much information is now available via the Internet.

statistics

Statistical information can be very useful for researchers. Most campus libraries have collections of ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) information. Alternatively, you may access statistical information online via:

The Internet has revolutionised access to information. Never before have people has so much information so readily available to them. The challenge is to find your way through this sea of information and select that information which is credible and relevant to your needs.
